285 Gallon Lick Tank
Lick tanks are an easy way to incorporate liquid supplements and feeds into cattle nutrition program. The sturdy polyurethane tank comes with either 2 or 4 lick wheels and holds approximately 1,000 liters, roughly 1,280 kg of LPS42.
Daily consumption depends on many variables (principally body size and the supply of other energy sources / forages / pasture condition). Typical consumption is about 0.5 kg / head / day.
Typically, the 285 gallon lick tank with two wheels can comfortably feed 100 head.
Ideally, place the lick tank away from water source and cattle loafing area (although be sure your cattle have access to unlimited water). LPS does not contain added salt, so be sure to provide a salt lick for your cattle as well.
Perfect tool for saving time for farm managers:
• No mess
• Easy to use
• Durable
